Taxiway F Reconstruction

This project was a federally funded project at Ted Stevens International Airport, in Anchorage, Alaska. This project required seven construction stages to make sure the taxiway was still active for incoming and outgoing air traffic. Scope of work includes; removing and replacing the asphalt on the 50,000 square yards of the taxiway, reconstructing the taxiway safety areas, new center lights and edge lights, new drainage systems, and pavement markings. The existing taxiway was not to current FAA regulations and needed to be rebuilt structurally. Overall the project was successful with little impact on the aircraft and was completed on schedule.
