RHC performed this project as a general contractor to MEA for the Balance of Plant Project, a sub-project of the Eklutna Generation Station. The Eklutna Generation Station is a 170-megawatt power plant powered by 10 Wartsila reciprocating engines. This project consisted of the 6,500 SF administration building and a 21,000 SF warehouse storage & maintenance building. RHC constructed the buildings simultaneously ahead of schedule, allowing MEA to use the buildings to start the commissioning and start-up tasks associated with the 170 MW project. We managed the design, procurement, and installation of the specialty pre-manufactured metal buildings; as well as the civil foundation and architectural finishes.
