In late 2014, Roger Hickel Contracting began performing pre-construction services, assisting in the design of the new Dillingham Dental Clinic. By May of 2015, a contract was signed and construction began on the foundation and shell of the building while the remaining design was completed. Construction continued from that date, until complete on Labor Day of this year, aside from a brief winter shutdown period. The 16,000SF facility, which houses 2 open laboratories with 9 operatory stations and 3 closed operatory suites, was completed for just under $11 million, on time and under budget, with zero lost time accidents.
