Since Alaska is remote and our construction market is small, the local industry has very few qualified specialty subcontractors. When they get busy, their bids are no longer competitive. We have the experience and capability to perform these work items which are typically subcontracted by most generals. We estimate the work to be performed and if competitive subcontractor bids are not received then, we will perform the work.

We routinely perform the following categories of work with our own forces: civil construction, including earthwork, piling, shoring systems, underground utilities and site improvements; concrete work including forming, placing and finishing, precast and tilt-up concrete work; seismic upgrades, steel erection, miscellaneous and ornamental metals, metal insulated panels, metal siding and roofing; carpentry and millwork; insulation and fireproofing; doors and hardware; metal framing, wallboard, acoustical treatment, ceilings; building specialties, equipment and furnishings, and material handling systems.
