Descriptive:

RHC developed a 2.5 acre site and constructed a 26,000 square feet wood framed live-in facility for troubled teenagers. The building consists of a 36 bed residential wing, administration & counseling areas, and an educational center. The educational wing includes four classrooms, a wood shop, an auto shop, gymnasium, large commercial kitchen, and cafeteria spaces. A massive two-story rock fireplace is the focal point of the great room. In-slab radiant heat is utilized in all areas but the gym and shops, which are heated by a combination of baseboard heat and hydronic coils in the air handling system. RHC crews performed all site work, all concrete work, wood framing, swing doors, partitions, and specialties work. We worked to design documents provided by the Owner. Through a joint effort with the designers, Owner, and RHC managment, we were able to meet the Owner's budget.
