Descriptive:

RHC developed an additional 7 acre site and constructed three separate additions to the building constructed under Phase I. The addition provided another 27,600 square feet of dry storage, 14,100 square feet freezer, plus a 6,400 square feet office mezzanine inside the existing building and above a 24 hour-a-day operating chill dock. Dry storage addition included 12 new overhead doors with levelers. New interior, insulated metal panel demishing wall was constructed to expand chill storage into a portion of space previously devoted to dry storage. As with Phase I, pre-engineered steel structural system with insulated metal panels was used for dry storage and freezer additions. The mezzanine was constructed out of tube steel columns, wide flange beams, bar joists, and concrete topped metal decking. RHC crews performed all site work, all concrete work, structural steel erection, installation of insulated metal panels, swing doors, partitions, and specialties work. We performed the work on a design-build basis.
